Measure body length from the front of the chest to the rear, not including the tail. Measure shoulder height from the top of the shoulder to the paw while your pet is standing naturally.
HOW SNUG CAN THE CARRIER BE?
The carrier can be comfortably close-fitting, especially for airline travel. Your pet should be able to settle naturally, lie down and reposition without feeling compressed.
DOES MY PET NEED TO STAND FULLY UPRIGHT IN THE CARRIER?
No. A good fit is cozy rather than roomy. Your pet should be able to lie down or curl up comfortably, reposition themselves and turn around, but they do not need to stand fully upright inside the carrier.
